We have an opening for a Corporate Representative to support the implementation of the Lawrence Livermore National Security, LLC (LLNS) Parent Oversight Plan. As an integrated member of the LLNS Corporate Office, you will be responsible for providing LLNS senior managers with advice and guidance regarding parent company resources, performing capability assessments, serving on advisory committees, and sharing parent company best practices. This position is in the LLNS Corporate Office located in downtown Livermore.

Essential Duties
- Implement the LLNS Parent Oversight Plan, interface with personnel to ensure the Laboratory and LLNS Corporate Office are aligned and establish solutions to complex issues in operations and mission.
- Provide advice and oversight to the Board of Governors' (Board) Ethics and Audit and Business, Operations, and Security committees regarding logistics, planning, scheduling, and reporting.
- Coordinate the planning, scoping, implementation, and reporting activities of cost-effective Functional Management Reviews (FMRs) in the operations area, ensuring coordination with the Laboratory Staff and Director of LLC.  Oversee and track committee, meeting activities and facilitate outside parent company involvement in the FMRs.
- Develop and oversee procedures, databases, and reports for facilitating and tracking FMR and committee processes and recommendations to Laboratory Senior Management and Livermore Field Office Contracting Officers.
- Analyze and report applicable FMRs and performance results of the Parent Organization Plan to senior management.
- Implement actions that enhance Laboratory effectiveness in the areas of operations & business through recommendations by the Board and its committees.
- Partner with the Laboratory IT personnel to maintain the Parent Oversight Plan Review Recommendations system used to track FMR recommendations and action items throughout the Laboratory.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Associate of Arts (AA) Degree in a business-related field or equivalent combination of significant experience and education in a related business, operational, and/or organizational area.
- Experience leading complex projects involving multiple customers across programmatic and directorate lines.
- Knowledge of and experience implementing compliance related aspects of federal, state and DOE regulations and directives.
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial management and best business practices.
- Advanced organizational problem-solving and decision-making techniques, with analytical skills necessary to independently interpret, advise, effectively change, and implement solutions to complex problems and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and national standards.
- Experience translating broad strategies into specific objectives and action plans to meet institutional deliverables.
- Experience working effectively in a highly visible and heavily regulated environment while leading a multidisciplinary team through an operational excellence and strategic planning process.
- Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills necessary to effectively explain, present operational and other complex information, negotiate, advise and influence all levels of Laboratory management and stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Laboratory Programs, functional organizations and business systems.
- Working knowledge of Prime Contract and LLNS policies and procedures.
- Familiarity with RSA Archer Business Resiliency Solution.

Pre-Employment Drug Test:  External applicant(s) selected for this position will be required to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test.  This includes testing for use of marijuana as Federal Law applies to us as a Federal Contractor.

Security Clearance:  This position requires a Department of Energy (DOE) Q-level clearance.

If you are selected, we will initiate a Federal background investigation to determine if you meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or matter. In addition, all L or Q cleared employees are subject to random drug testing.  Q-level clearance requires U.S. citizenship.  If you hold multiple citizenships (U.S. and another country), you may be required to renounce your non-U.S. citizenship before a DOE L or Q clearance will be processed/granted.

Note:   This is a Career Indefinite position. Lab employees and external candidates may be considered for this position.
